Hello Mahesh18,

Not at all, that is how Failover works!

The active led is no longer showing the activity of thedevice but it's current failover state,  meaning the standby's LED will be amber. So it isn't showing any problems.

Regards,

Julio

Hello Mahesh,

and ASA  which has Orange light in Front panel  of Active  LED  is in standby state? Yes, that is true.

So does this mean that ASA  which is currently active in state will  have  no green LED  in Front panel of Active status: Actually should be green, I just read your post againg and you said it is not green

Can you share the show failover from both units?

Hi julio,

Checked lights on ASA  when i cluster mode

Back side of ASA  which is active has solid green light.

Back side of ASA  which is standby has amber light.

Active ASA  front side Active status is off.

Seems we should conside lights in the back side while checking active /standby ASA

Thanks

Mahesh
