I have 5525x with FMC. Now I need to allocate quota for each user authenticated by Active Directory. Is it possible on 5525x with firepower?

You can create QoS policy for download and upload rate limiting per AD user/group on the Firepower device. But the FMC needs to be integrated with ISE or AD user agent to receive passive authentication information in order to get the user-ip mapping.

Thanks for response. I need to allocate 5GB or certain data quota for each user for one month or certain time period. is it possible.

Hi Samith,
You can rate limit the user traffic with FMC QOS policy but i don't think so you can set a specific quota for a user.

Hi Abheesh,
Yes. Bandwidth control able to do since legacy ASA too. As per my knowledge quota allocation not possible with firepower too. But other firewall vendors support this feature.
