AIP SSM - Down

Hello,

The AIP-SSM Module installed in the secondary firewall is down.

Any thoughts to fix this

Hello,

If you reload the module, does it recover?

hw module 1 reload/reset

If not, the only option is to re-image the module.  Here are the re-imaging steps:

If re-maging does not work, then the issue is most likely hardware related.  Thus, you will probably need a replacement.

We tried to reload and no luck.

PairA# hw module 1 reload

Reload module in slot 1? [confirm]
Module in slot 1 can not be reloaded, not in Up state.

The correct command is:

asa#hw-module module 1 reset

This will do a hardware reset on the module. The 'reload' command will only do a software reset.

Let me know if that helps.

We tried that and no luck.

After then, we opened the device, unplugged the Slot connected it back again and the device was not detected.

Finally, we RMA'ed the slot and configured
