It is irony that Pix, although a firewall, cannot block Kaaza or any other application which needs to be blocked on application level. But it can be blocked on Router using NBAR. It doesnt make any sense that although Pix is a firewall, it cannot do the job but router can do it.
Can we expect the same feature on Pix in future or we keep on telling the clients, that if you need to block Kaaza, block it on your router. funny...

Actually I think that feature will be supported in the 7.0 release.

This is one of the main reasons why we will be replacing our PIX with a Juniper platform.
And we replaced our Cisco IDS with Juniper IDPs that sit inline and can block malicious traffic unlike the Cisco IDSs.
And we replaced our Cisco VPN Concentrator with a Juniper SSL Appliance which makes VPN deployment simple.
