ASA-4-405101: Unable to Pre-allocate H225 Call Signalling Connection for faddr
I am starting to see these messages on our firewall and it's dropping some Avaya connections. We are not low on memory nor we are doing NAT as these are internal firewalls only so I don't think the description from Cisco is valid for us. There are around 15 of these messages per hour but we have thousands of phones (both softphone and hardphone) and there will be random disconnects from the end host to the call manager. Any idea what else could be the problem? We have inspection turned on in the firewall. Thanks in advance.

ExplanationThe module failed to allocate RAM system memory while starting a connection or has no more address translation slots available.
Recommended ActionIf this message occurs periodically, it can be ignored. You can check the size of the global pool compared to the number of inside network clients. A PAT address may be necessary. Alternatively, shorten the timeout interval of translates and connections. This error message may also be caused by insufficient memory; try reducing the amount of memory usage, or purchasing additional memory. If the problem persists, contact the Cisco TAC.
