I have installed a few 5505's for a small business, and received one today that does not appear to have the ASDM. I did not know this was an option, and maybe they bought the incorrect version, but the other two 5505's have the ASDM, and I am able to connect to it out of the box. So, I performed a factory reset on the device, with the same results. I entered the http server enable, and allowed inside access, even using different OS's and browsers to see if it's a machine issue.
I can put the config out here, just wanting to know if this is something that I can resolve via configuration or if I have to purchase this, and why?
Thanks for any help.

Get a show tech and it should have image on it but if does not you normally should have a CD with the images.

Got it. Just had to TFTP the image to the device and then put in the asdm command:
hostname(config)# asdm image disk0:/asdmfile
