We have an ASA 5515-X and recently purchased the Firesight IPS Module. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a Dell Server Setup to run ESXi for the OVA.  Ex: RAM, Processor...ETC.

Thanks

The server hardware model isn't critical.

As long as you meet the minimums it will work OK. ( 8 GB RAM (as of version 6.0), 4 vCPUs and 250 GB storage)

More RAM allocated to the VM always helps. More storage will just allow you to archive more events. The system isn't typically CPU-bound so that isn't as material.

8 GB RAM is decent enough for the VM's to perform well . Afterall its  based on the events that gets stored on the device . If you need to store more events give it more resources. While installation please use thin provision . Storing more events without enough resources will affect the device performance and it may also cause latency.
