There is no SecurityPlus License for the 5525-X. This device always has the features build in that have to be enabled on low-end-devices with the SecPlus License.
How do you enable the IPS Module and Botnet Traffic Filter for ASA 5525-X with VPN Premium License? Do you need another license or anything that needs to be done?
IPS is activated on the Firepower Services module that you have to install and needs an additional subscription. If IPS is your main focus, think about migrating to Firepower Thread Defense, the more modern Firewall-software for your ASA platform.
