ASA 5525x: upgrading ASA firmware and ASDM module

Hi,

I have upgraded to ASA9-14-4-24-smp-k8 and it was successful.

I also have to upgrade the asdm module, I have a asdm-7202 and asdm-openjre-7202.

Question, do I need the openjre file ...? if so, do I need to point it someone or just drop it in flash: ...?

Thank you ...!

@Ced W no, you only need the asdm-openjre-7202 image if you do not have Java installed on your computer.

Ahh, so we do have java on our pc's but what I am hearing from you is if I remove openjre from the appliance, because for some reason asdm-7202 and asdm-openjre-7202 are both on the appliance, I should still be able to access the asdm module with only the asdm-7202.bin on the appliance ...? I am a route\switch guy, learning firewall appliances in my new role ...!

I appreciate you ...!

@Ced W you don't need them both, no harm in leaving them both there either.
