ASA 5580 downgrade guidelines from 8.4.2 to 8.2.1

Hi

I have a customer that has to perform an upgrade in their deployed ASA appliances, we gave them an ASA for testing but it has the 8.4.2 version and they need the 8.2.1 for performing their local tests, is there any guideline to perform this?

Thanks

If you gave them a clean ASA with 8.4.2 version pre-installed , have them install  version 8.2.1 and boot the device under this version   provided they have not yet done any configuration under 8.4.2 .

But if they upgraded to 8.4 and had  configuration under 8.2.1 then is different story,  the  only downgrade process Im aware of  is used in this link  Migrating from 8.2.x to 8.3.
