ASA 9.6.1 100% cpu

Hi!

Run into a strange issue today, ASA 5525X with 9.6.1 code started dropped some traffic randomly and ended up with 100% cpu after a few hours. (HA failed as well)

rebooted the appliance, but run into same problem after a few min.

icmp ping to the internal ip was from 0-3800ms. downgraded from 9.6.1 to 9.5.2 and the problem is resolved.

the appliance also run SFR 6.0.1.1

Anyone has the same problem? worried because this ASA hosting for stock marked trading systems.

Did you have this issue after you upgrade the ASA?

Did you check if your appliance have some bug? You can do that from here https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/

Could you run a show logging when you've had 100% cpu?
