ASA active / standby Uptime

Hi All,

 

There was a power outage in my building and when the power resumed my Primary (Active) FW went to Secondary state and the Secondary (Standby) FW became Primary state.

 

I have reverted back the Secondary to Primary as the initial setup and all is good now.

 

My Question is how to know the uptime of my Primary and Secondary FW.

 

I tried the below commands:

show failover

show failover state

show version | include uptime

 

But my manager is saying he dont want these uptimes he want to know what is the actual uptime of these devices.

 

 Can anyone please help on this how can i see the actual uptime of these two FW?

Within the "show version" output you will see the uptime for both the individual unit and the HA pair.

 

For example, here's one I manage. You can see the primary unit has been up about 5 minutes longer since I upgraded it first just recently and then the secondary unit as soon as the primary was back in ready state. The overall pair has been up since a facility power outage 110 days ago:
