ASA and Proxy

Hi all,

I have another issue with ASA 8.4(3) and an external proxy.

issue is that once you connect the ASA to the external proxy, some services doesn't work

the traffic is not routed to the proxy. Only the web contents will  reach the proxy, controlled by the pac-file or static proxy definition in the browser.

All other traffic e.g. citrix or ssh (port-forwarding) will be send directly to the asa outside interface, however these traffic (ssh, port forwarding or Citrix) will notwork. any advice where I need to look in to on this issue please?

thanks in advance

What do you mean by "connect the ASA to the external proxy", how do you connect the ASA to the external proxy?

Are you doing destination NAT on the ASA towards an external proxy? what proxy is that?

If you are already redirecting the web traffic via pac file or static proxy, then what is the role of the ASA?

Can you share the ASA configuration.
