ASA FirePower Control License

Hi

My ASA 5515 is supplied with control lic. Now protection and control feature is enabled for the box using firesight manager. Ans my fire-sight manager is updating signature.

Please tell, is there need for FirePOWER  IPS Subscription license.

The IPS subscription license is required if you are using it.

Cisco does not currently use technical means to enforce this particular license; but agreeing that you will use products according to what licenses you are eligible for is part of the terms and conditions you agree to when you install the products.
