If you have an untrust or external subnet tied to an interface, do you have to specifically configure that static route to route out of that untrust interface, or will it just route through the default gateway route?
If you don't match any other specific routes, the default route will be used. If your external subnet uses the same interface as the default route, you do not need to add a specific route - the default route would do.
