ASA - Using SSP-10 10G interface with 1G SFP - license requirement?

Hello ASA community,

Has anyone tested this scenario, and what are the license requirements for this to work?

Following link suggests it is doable from technical standpoint:

https://search-prd.cisco.com/topic/news/cisco/cs/cs-asa/dsc25457.html

"You can simply plug in 1G SFP module to the 10G SFP cage,

The system will automatically configure the port as 1G."

The concern comes from needing the proper license to have the 10G interfaces of the SSP-10 to come up, would it be possible to use those interfaces as 1G ports without a 10G license?

Thank you in advance.

Yes: using SSP-10 TenGig porta with 1G SFP will work without the Security Plus license.
