I have a customer running ASA5545s in ASA mode with IPS and AMP enabled on a 1Gbps circuit.
The code is relatively old and we are looking at upgrade or replacement options.
The firewalls are running at ~70% utilization. I have access to the Performance Estimator and know there is the option of proposing replacement 2100s but if, as a medium term measure, we were to migrate to FTD, are there any figures to suggest the % improvement the customer would see using the unified FTD code instead of ASA with FP services?
