i get following message when trying asdm(https://asa-ip) with ASA 5520 , 8.0 rel 4.
asdm image disk0:/asdm-506.bin
The requested URL /admin/public/index.html was not found on this server
asa ip is 192.168.200.25.
related configuration on asa is,
http server enable
http 192.168.100.0 255.255.255.0 local
i can telnet without any problems from same local subnet to this asa.
i have tried to recreate crypto using - crypto key zeroize rsa & crypto key generate rsa modulus 1024. but it still gives same message.
any help will be much appreciated.

Yes, it doesn't require any reboot once you upload the ASDM image. You would need to configure the following once you have uploaded the asdm image:
asdm image flash:/
You should be able to download the asdm image from your other ASA (i never personally try that), but you can also as easily download the ASDM image from the following download site:
http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=279916854&flowid=4818&softwareid=280775064

Would you please do a show flash and verify that the ASDM image is on flash?

it is seen on the flash, as below.

ASDM version 5.0.6 is not supported if you are running ASA version 8.0.4.
You would need to be running at least ASDM version 6.1.5 or later.

thanks Jennifer. is there a way to get needed asdm 6.1 from another asa.
there is another asa with this 6.1 asdm. Can i get it from this and load it online, without any interruption or reboot.
