Hi Team,
May I seek your help on subject-above. We have HA ASA5510 with software version 8.0(3) with 256MB memory. We will upgrade the software to 8.2(5.59). Does it have an upgrade-path [8.0(3) > 8.2(5.59)]?Also, Is it possible to upgrade the memory module without downtime? Can you give me a reference on how can I do the memory upgrade? Thank you very much.
Regards,
Mady

Hi Mady,
You can upgrade the device from 8.0.3 to 8.2.5.559 directly.
You need downtime for the memroy upgrade. Please refer "Replacing Memory in the Adaptive Security Appliance" section in below link

Hi Shivapramod,
For clarification only, If I will upgrade first the memory of secondary-stand-by. The primary active will continue network traffic. So it is not possible to connect again the secondary after the upgrade of memory then force the secondary to be active?
