ASA5580-20: Monitoring the number of SSL Peers and VPN Tunnel Peers

Hi Guys,

We'd like to monitor the number of SSL peers (i.e. customers connecting via the AnyConnect client) and separately the number of VPN Tunnel (Lan to Lan) end points we have up and any given time.  The latter is easy enough to find via CLI (e.g. show crypto ipsec sa ....), however it is proving difficult to find a neat CLI command to provide me with the number of SSL Peers we have connecting to our ASA.  Could someone point me to the CLI command I can use for this?  I was looking at the output of "show resource usage", however I'm not certain the "Conns" field is what I'm after here.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

thanks

Sheldon

Try the following and see if you get all of the info that you need:

sh vpn-sessiondb svc

show vpn-sessiondb webvpn
