ASDM site to site IPsec tunnel

Hello,

I have setup a site to site VPN with an external company to my network.  We are both using the same Cisco ASDM version to configure the IPSec tunnel.  We have agreed on the protocols for IPSec and the tunnel comes up ok but shuts off again after 60 seconds.

Any ideas what would tear down a successfully connected tunnel after 60 seconds - its very frustrating

Timeouts, Lifetimes in seconds etc seem to be the same on both sides.

when the tunnel is connected - what is the output of "show crypto ipsec sa"

Andrew,

I rebuilt the tunnel on both sides from scratch and it came online and stayed online after 60 seconds.
