Can I clear my firewall config, without touching my FirePower config? ASA5545X

Hi there,

Hope your well, I have a firewall that I am doing some testing on. I have firepower set up and working and do not want to effect it with my testing. I had wanted to see if setting my firewall up as a zone based firewall would be more beneficial to what I am after and I believe I need to clear the config to do this.

If I write erase in the CLI will all of my firepower config go?

Thanks for your help!

You can backup the FirePower configuration. Please see link below. I believe you can do the write erase without losing the information. However, always backup configurations; it is a best practice.
