can i directly upgrade ASA 8.0(4) to 8.2(5) + failover + zero downtime

I have two ASA with  failover. I want to upgrade only one of them.

Can first ASA work on 8.0(4) and second  ASA on 8.2(5) with failover.

Hi Tomasz,

Yes you can directly upgarde from ASA 8.0.4 to 8.2.5, on failover in zero-downtime.

Hi Tomasz,

You can upgrade the ASA with zero downtime. But you need to upgrade both the firewalls. You cannot have one firewall in 8.0(4) and the other with 8.2(5) and have failover between them.
