can't ping map ip address

Hello all i hope you are well

i have ASA 5520 with 2 interface(inside:10.0.0.0/24 && outside(public):192.168.1.0/24 which get an ip address from DHCP server and has accessibility to internet)

i have one test router(R1) in same range as outside range of ASA

R1 has ip addr:192.168.1.137/24

i want to have accessibility to inside computer(10.0.0.2/24) through telnet

i do 2 things:{1-create Access Rule from outside to inside

source:any

Des:10.0.0.2/24

service:tcp/telnet

-----------------------------

and create 1 NAT Rule:

name:inside_to_out_telnet

ip:10.0.0.2

Des:any

Service:tcp,ip,icmp,telnet

---

and in advance tab:

source:inside

Des:any

service :tcp

---

i checked mark : add translation

choose static translation to ip address :192.168.1.250/24

i think i map 192.168.1.250 to 10.0.0.2 for telnet service!!! is it true????

if yes

my problem is:

from R1 i can ping 192.168.1.50

but i can't ping 192.168.1.50 from 10.0.0.2

and even though i type from R1 ::: telnet 192.168.1.50

it's not work

first it's trying....

and i face to error : connection refused by remote host

what do you think about my issue?

please help me

Should i ping map ip address or no it's normal i can't ping?

Hi,

First of all what is this ip 192.168.1.50 ?

confirm the version you are running on the firewall.

Also, share the configuration i.e. the NAT rules and the access rules applied to achieve the above.

From the firewall can you ping 192.168.1.50?
