Can vFMC (or FMCv) licenses be "stacked" ?

I have a customer that needs to support 20 managed devices under vFMC (VMware)..

Is it possible to use 2 x 10 device SKU(s) to accomplish this, and essentially "stack" these together ?

Meaning 10 + 10 would yield me 20 vFMC managed devices..

Or is vFMC license "stacking" not permitted / supported ?

If that is the case, then I would need to go with the vFMC 25 managed device license, which is significantly more expensive then going the 2 x 10 device license..

Please Advise - Thanks !!

I think I found my answer here:

So my guess is the answer is NO, one cannot "stack" two (2) 10 device mgmt licenses together on a single vFMC ?

I guess that means we need the 25 pack instead :-)

Correct - no license stacking is possible for FMCv.

If a customer is managing more than a few devices they will also quickly run into the event limitations of FMC (10 million event maximum). If analysis of historical events is important to your customer they should seriously consider the hardware FMC appliances. I have a customer with just 3 active ASA Firepower service modules and they get less than 24 hours visibility into connection events.
