Can you set timeout/banner for PDM

Hi,

2 quick questions, well hopefully quick.

1. I would like to know if you can set banner to be displayed on the PDM like you can on the CLI ?

2. Can you set a timeout on the PDM, like you can for SSH ?

Hi Stuart,

Banners can only be set for ASDM and even then only in later versions of PIX code. So, to achieve this you would need to upgrade to at least 7.2(4) or 8.0(3).

Likewise, you cannot set a timeout for PDM. You can set a timeout for ASDM, but only in code version 8.2(1) or later.
