Chage the IP address of FMC and Firepower

Hi friends.

 

we deployed one FMC and Firepower in our network. now we should chage the ip address of FMC and firepower. changing the ip address can cause the problem for licenses?

No it’s safe to change the IP address on both appliance it will not impact the license side

Hi

Changing the IP addresses won't affect the licenses as there either bound
to the license key (MAC address with 66 infront of it) or you Smart
licensing account.

An extra tip: when you change the IP address of any managed device, you
will need to delete and re-add it on the FMC using the new IP address.

as they said, it will not affect the licenses at all, but don't forget to re-map the FTD devices to the new IP address along with the key.
