Hello,
I upgraded cisco asa image to 8.4.2 coming form a 7.x image.
after copying with tftp and after
boot system image disk0:/asa842-k8.bin
the system rebooted after a manual reload and now there is a christmas tree...
as soon as I plug the power coord the status led is amber and all the interfaces green led
aref lashing at the same time....
any hints ?

Hi Riccardo,
Could you leave the ASA powered down for a minute or 2 and then see if you face the same issue?

After waiting for 15 minutes the ASA comes up woth no problem... looks like an overheat problem,
but the strange thing is that it rised upon reboot after a asa system image upgrade...
fortunately it did not happen again but right now I am using the ASA really with reduced network traffic,
so it is not loaded at all...
