Cisco ASA 8.4(4)5 to 9.1(7)4

Hi,

We have a ASA firewall 5580 running on 8.4(4)5 version in Multiple mode (context 10). Customer has requested for an upgrade to test the URL Category filtering on the firewall. I have checked the upgrade path document but couldn't find the exact version match from 8.4(4)5 to 9.1(7)4. Can someone confirm me whether I can directly go for 9.1(7)4 upgrade or need to go for 8.5/9.0 then to 9.1(7)4.

You need to do an interims-upgrade before going to 9.1.

But what kind of URL-filter are you talking about? There is nothing like this on the legacy ASA.
