Cisco Firepower 1000 standard ASA license IPS capability

Hi all,

Does anyone know if basic IPS/IDS is included with a standard ASA OS and license installed on a Firepower 1000 series? As opposed to the SNORT system available if you install the FTD OS and licenses.

I managed to find out that no IPS is included in such a license. It's just stateful firewall and VPN.

Hi, the base license doesn't include IPS capabilities. This is covered
under threat license.
