Cisco FMC High Availability and AMP Private Cloud Integration

Hello,

We have two data centers, Primary site (DC1) and DR site (DC2).  In each data center we have one FMC (hardware) and two FTD appliances.
I have configured HA between the FMCs (where the primary FMC resides in DC1) and the FTDs at each data centers are added to the primary FMC. We have one AMP private cloud virtual appliance and Threat Grid appliance at each data center. But when I checked the FMC, I found that I can add only one AMP private cloud appliance and there is no option to add the second appliance at DC2. In this case if the AMP virtual appliance at DC1 goes down then we need to manually add the AMP virtual appliance at DC2, if the FMCs are in HA ?. Is there any solution for this scenario?.

Thanks

Shabeeb

FMC only supports defining a single AMP private cloud appliance.

So - yes - in your case you would need to switch over the definition manually to the DC2-based appliance in the event of DC1 not being available.

Thanks Marvin. But by any chance do you know whether there is any roadmap to support multiple AMP private cloud appliances in the future releases.

Thanks
