With the new changes in Cisco CCIE Security ver 4.0 lab requirements, we now require to procure as a Lab hardware a Cisco Ironport S160 / S170. I guess the BOQ is as follows:
S170-BUN-R-NA Cisco IronPort S170, Standard Configuration production Unit 1
2 SP-S170-P-1Y Platinum Support for Cisco IronPort S170, 1 Year
3 WUC-EN-1Y Cisco IronPort Web Usage Controls 1 Year license key, xxxx users
4 IPAM-SO-EN-1Y Cisco IronPort Anti-Malware (Sophos Verdict Engine) 1 Year License Key, XXXX Users (50 Users)
My question is, since this is a Lab, Do i still need Licensing?
If yes, How does the Licensing work?
In case of absence of a License, will the box boot up and perform functionality?
Like ASA, which has a few base / builtin licenses, does Ironport too have any base user licenses built in along with the perpetual license?
Do i require Ironport Anti-Manware enginer and license also?
