Critical Sensor

Hello,

I have recently been monitoring our IPS sensors and see that one is usually always in a "critical" 99% load very frequently. Was there a recent update or something I should be aware of...

Additionally, Our IPS alerts are up and down all the time. Would this have to do with the above issue? - thx

The sensor is probably oversubscribed for traffic; most Cisco sensors don't come near the published specs.

Some others on this forum have complained about similar performance issues after applying the E3 update. Have you done the same? It would help to involve Cisco IPS team with this.
