Does PIX v6.3 talk to RSA server or a proxy is needed

I know VPN 3k boxes talk directly to RSA server without the need for a proxy device but I am not sure about PIX running v6.3.

PIX (any version) will only talk natively to an external Radius or TACACS server. Recently you've also ben able to use the local user database for other features.

It will not talk directly to an RSA server, you'd need a Radius proxy in between.
