Please does anyone know if I can use a 3640 router as an Easy VPN server.
I have a number if prospective VPN client devices, mainly PIX 506 firewalls and was looking to upgrade our 3640 to manage centraly the site to site vpn configurations for these tunnels.
Was looking to upgrade the router to IPVPN / FW / etc.
Thanks

Yes, you can upgrade a 3640 to be an EzVPN server. You'll need to upgrade it to 12.2(8)T.

If you'll do an upgrade, better be 12.2.13T. Of cource if you not use some radius features on the box :)

Actually I wouldn't go to 12.2(13)T, there is some fairly major IPSec problems with that new code. Stick wih 12.2(8)T.
