Hi ,

We are migrating from FWSM to FTD 2120. How we can achieve the High availability with 2120 ?

Thanks in advance..

FTD devices, including those on Firepower 2100 series appliances, support HA.

You need to create an HA pair in FMC - local (FDM management-based) HA is not currently supported.

Hi Marvin,

Thanks for your reply... Will ASA on firepower 2100 also requires FMC for fail over ??

If you're running an ASA image on your Firepower appliance, it's not managed by FMC at all.

You setup failover very similarly to the way you do on ASA hardware- using the ASA cli and/or ASDM GUI (once you've assigned interfaces using the Firepower Chassis Manager).
