Hi,

There is not a /var/log/messages in the system I am using.

root@FMC:/# /var/log/ CSCOpx/ packages/ scripts/ vjdbc/
audit/ removed_packages/ seshat/ httpd/ removed_scripts/ setup/
mojo/ sa/ sf/

Where may one find the logs you mention in your post?

/var/log is the folder. messages is the file.

From /var/log, type "ls -al | grep messages" (without the quotes).
