Been reading about Firepower and all the cool features it has and I want to get into FirePOWER, at the moment I have no physical ASA-X at all to play with. Is it possible to use it somehow via ESXi and get a feeling for it?
I looked at FirePOWER Threat Defense and that seems to be an interface for physical ASA?

Hello Johan,
There is Firepower hardware appliance and virtual appliance and Firepower modules with ASA.
If you dont have an ASA and you are not planning to have a hardware appliance, then you can try a virtual Firepower . This you can install on a ESXi. Ofcourse the trhouputs and performance will be varied when its virtual.
Please refer the follwoing links for further info on how to install and what all are the requirements.
