FMC, pxGrid and SXP

Hi,

Quick clarification. In the FMC, when it says "Subscribe to SXP topic", does it mean that the FMC gets the SGTs data from SXP over pxGrid, right? That's why we need to have the "Publish SXP bindings on pxGrid" checkbox enabled in ISE and there is no need to configure the FMC as a SXP device.

Thanks,

@Antonio Macia  SXP is used for the FMC to learn static SGT-to-IP address mapping information for using destination SGT tagging in access control rules. This information is sent via the pxGrid integration.

That's right but you don't necessarily need it if there are no static mappings or anything that would need to be recieved and published over SXP.
