FMCv in Azure Hosting Multiple HA Clusters and License

I am reaching out to seek clarification regarding the deployment of FMCv (Firepower Management Center Virtual) in Azure. Specifically, I would like to confirm the following:

Can FMCv in Azure host and manage multiple High Availability (HA) clusters of FTD (Firepower Threat Defense)?
What type of licensing is required to support this setup in Azure?

We would greatly appreciate your guidance on these matters, as it will help us effectively plan our architecture and licensing needs.

Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to your response.

FMCv license behaves the same whether it is hosted on premises or in the public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP or OCI). So, you have the option of a 2-, 10-, 25- or 300-device right-to-use license that governs how many FTD devices you may manage. Each device in a cluster counts against the total.

Hi Marvin,

Thanks for your prompt response; it is much appreciated.

So, the requirement for 4 FTD devices (2 per HA cluster) for two different sites would be 10- or could we use 2x 2- in respective Virtual Accounts? Also, should there be any consideration around SF-FMC-KVM and SF-FMC-VMW?
