FPR 1010 connected client not getting DNS

out of the box setup using FDM and the client device or the management device dont get DNS.

manually enter a DNS IP in the client NIC properties and DNS lookups work. I can browse the internet. The same applies for the device on the management port.

how does the client get DNS settings. DHCP works ok but no DNS settings pulled through to client device.

thanks

Found the problem.

Go into DHCP>Configuration and either add some DNS IP's or hit the use opendns button.

why is there a DNS server config if it does not get used?

By default could have the DNS servers setup, but unfortunately is not the case.
