FTD HA issue

Hi,

when primary FTD active goes down, then secondary FTD standby become active. When power come up, the primary FTD takes too long time(say 30 minutes) to become active.

Any solution for this. how to fix this issue.

check the timers in the HA config, also can you let us know how is your setup and bandwidth capacity for the HA Link ?

is this same Location or different Location ?

can you post below commands :

show high-availability config

show failover

As Per Cisco documentation when formerly active device recovers from failure it will join HA as standby and no change over occurs.
