Hi all,
I have a Cisco FTD 2130 in active/passive config on which I need to migrate sec. zones/IGs/IP addresses for Outside/Inside interfaces from the existing 1G interfaces to new 10G interfaces.
From my perspective the process of migration should look something like this:
1. connect new 10G interfaces
2. through FMC delete IP configuration on the 1G interfaces. Also remove the sec. zones/IGs from those interfaces
3. through FMC add the sec. zones/IGs/IP addresses from 1G interfaces on the new 10G interfaces
4. deploy all of the changes through FMC
Is the way I plan to migrate the configuration valid or am I missing something in the process? Thanks for all the help.
