Getting started with a Cisco ASA 5510

My client has just bought an ASA 5510 and wanted it configured and installed online. Now this will be the first time to work with ASA 5500 series security appliance though I have experience with PIX Firewall 515E. What are the first things I need to do? What information should I request from the client in order for me to begin the configuration?

ASA is same config as PIXv7, which is very similar to PIXv6.

you need to consider:

IP addressing

routes

NAT

ACL rules
