Having to reinstall ASDM everytime

I wonder if anyone else has had this. Everytime I want to use ASDM I have to download and reinstall or it can't connect to the ASA! This is driving me crazy...

Hi,

I am not sure about the ASA device Code:- 6.6(1). Also , the ASDM code version seems to be incorrect.

Can you pul up the show version output from the ASA device ?

ASA is 5510 running 8.0(4), ASDM version 6.1(3) I have Java 6u7 installed.

Hi,

I think the easiest way would be to upgrade the ASDM code on the ASA device as it does not even requires reload ?

Also , you might have to think about upgrading the ASA code as this is EOL.
