Am getting some incrementing input and overrun errors almost directly correllated on the Cisco ASA 5525 v9.2(3)4 as per below
Interface Redundant3 "", is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is i82574L rev00, BW 1000 Mbps, DLY 10 usec
Auto-Duplex(Full-duplex), Auto-Speed(1000 Mbps)
Input flow control is unsupported, output flow control is off
Available but not configured via nameif
MAC address a46c.2a65.7241, MTU not set
IP address unassigned
9348040549 packets input, 10660713820942 bytes, 0 no buffer
Received 37628109 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants
2279696 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 2279696 overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.2(3)4
The Redundant Port has 2 physical 1Gb connections to 2 separate Nexus 9ks.
When I clear the counters it Is this a common bug, no users have commented on degradation of services on the network.
