how to monitor status asav with vmware

Hi All, 

I would like to know . how to monitor status between asav with vmware . i try to see the command on asav . i see the command

show cpu/memory but i'm not sure can monitor system between asav with vm or not ?

if i understand correctly - you have ASAv installed as VM under esxi - is this correct, then -

if you are connected to ASAv that means you have good connectivity between esxi(vmware) .

you able to ping to ASA - that means ASAv reachability there network point of view.

you can use any NMS to monitor ASAv for regular monitoring purposes.

or you looking for something extra please clarify ?

i looking for the extra of monitoring . It can prove asav running correctly or has some issue on vmware .

we do basic testst for monitor the device if you are on console, same can be monitor using SNMP (i advise SNMP, so you have history)

show cpu usage
show memory
show process cpu-usage sorted
show process internal
show perfmon
show connection state up
show traffic

if HA

show failover
show failover history
show failover state
