How to stop FMC backup process

how can i stop officially/regularly Cisco FMC 4500 backup process without any problem. It runs more than 12 hours, but does not do anything:

The stuck job can be removed using a mysql script to clear the flag from the Task Status database table.

I recommend raising a Cisco TAC case for this as it involves altering the database and I'm sure you wouldn't want that to go wrong :)
