Hi mhelmer,

I guess something is not clear enough here, all the ASA5585's are actually a 5585x, are trying to use the Firepower module on your 5585? show module is going to tell you if you have a Firepower Module.

This information can help you if that if what you are trying to do:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/asa-firepower-services/118644-configure-firepower-00.html#anc7

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/vmware/fmcv/FMCv-quick.html

The code FS-VMW-2-SW-K9 is actually a license to run the Cisco Firepower Management Center Virtual:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/firesight-management-center/datasheet-c78-736775.html

Hope this info helps!!
