Are you trying to install FTD?

What are you starting with and what are you moving to?

What file are you using to perform the installation?

Hello Marvin,
Thanks for replying.

Yes i am installing FTD on ASA 5525-X.

I am using 'ftd-boot-9.9.2.0.cdisk' for the boot image

and 'ftd-6.2.3-83.pkg' for the system image.

Check the details of install.log and lastlog.  Also, check the logs under /var/log/cisco (upgrade.log, pyos.log, and commandd.log).  They might point to what has happened.

hi,

what's your rommon version? issue the ASA show module command and ensure you've got at least 1.1.8 or above and at least 3 GB flash/disk0 free space.
